Maven Labs – LMS Overview

This course provides hands-on, practical experience with Apache Maven, focusing on building, managing, and automating Java-based projects using industry-standard practices. It is designed to help learners understand Maven’s role in modern software development and CI/CD pipelines.

Learners will begin with Maven fundamentals, including project structure, the pom.xml file, dependencies, repositories, and the Maven build lifecycle. The course then progresses into managing plugins, profiles, and multi-module projects.

Through guided labs and real-world exercises, learners will practice creating Maven projects, managing dependencies, resolving version conflicts, running builds, and packaging applications. Learners will also explore integrating Maven with popular tools such as Git, Jenkins, and other CI/CD platforms.

The course covers best practices for build optimization, dependency management, and versioning, as well as troubleshooting common Maven build issues. Learners will gain practical exposure to enterprise-level Maven workflows used in real production environments.

By the end of this course, learners are expected to confidently build, manage, and automate Java application builds using Maven, and be well prepared to work in DevOps, CI/CD, and Java-based development environments.
