Jenkins Zero to Advanced – LMS Overview
This course provides a complete learning path from the fundamentals to advanced usage of Jenkins for automating build, test, and deployment workflows. It is designed to help learners develop strong CI/CD skills required in modern DevOps environments.
Learners will begin with Jenkins basics, including installation, architecture, jobs, agents, and the Jenkins user interface. The course then progresses into creating and managing pipelines using Jenkins Freestyle jobs and Jenkins Declarative and Scripted Pipelines.
Through hands-on labs and real-world projects, learners will practice building CI/CD pipelines, integrating Jenkins with tools such as Git, Maven, Docker, SonarQube, and Nexus. Advanced topics include pipeline-as-code, shared libraries, parameterized builds, credentials management, and distributed builds using Jenkins agents.
The course also covers Jenkins security, scalability, and maintenance, including role-based access control, backup strategies, pipeline optimization, and monitoring. Learners will gain exposure to best practices for running Jenkins in production environments.
By the end of this course, learners are expected to confidently design, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, and be well prepared for real-world DevOps and cloud engineering roles.
